The Oskaloosa Rotary Club was founded on February 1, 1920. We believe in Service Above Self. We recite the Rotary 4-Way test at each meeting, and this motto is a guide to direct our words in actions in daily service. We are part of Rotary District 6000, and three Governors have come from the Oskaloosa Rotary Club.

Over the years, we have conducted a variety of projects to serve our local community such as the Edmundson park shelters and the Rotary Gateway Trailhead. Our club sponsors Youth Exchange inbound and outbound students, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), college scholarships, and we receive donation requests from many local organizations.  Every year, six organizations are selected to receive proceeds of our ‘service jar’ which is passed around the room during our meetings every week. We finally support the International Rotary Foundation as well as Rotary's fight against polio.
