Rotary Club was formed on Feb. 23 1905 by Paul P. Harris, who wished to recapture in the spirit of friendship in a professional organization.

Rotary International's incoming president, William B. Boyd, has chosen Lead the Way as the theme for the 2006–07 Rotary year.
